Keri e-mailed me a few weeks ago asking if we would take some photos of her and boyfriend Derek in a field.
We spent the following weeks planning everything out and discussing ideas…and then 5 minutes after we got to the field? It started raining! So David and I dragged them to Fayetteville Underground for a bit and somehow ended up in a parking garage, hoping it would let up long enough to get some shots elsewhere. It didn’t. But we ended up having a lot of fun with them anyway and you really can’t go wrong with two attractive people, right? We can’t wait until spring!

We met up with Lindsey a few weeks ago to discuss ideas for her upcoming session. And then we spent the next two weeks scouting locations and making arrangements – but on the day of? Nothing seemed to work the way we’d hoped. But that’s okay. Lindsey was super sweet about all of it and we’ve ended up being pretty pleased with the results. We also can’t say enough good things about this girl. Love her!
(A big thank you to the Cosmopolitan Hotel (and Jim)!

I’ve known Stephanie for years, so I was super excited about doing a session with her baby. We had a really hard time coming up with a location, but then we lucked out and found this field as the sun was setting. And it might just be my new favorite location now.
Meet Ava. I adore this kid and her chubby cheeks!

We had so much fun with Brave Soul at Rogue on Saturday night! It was an awesome show and we hope you’ll check them out. You can find them on Myspace or Facebook.
The guys have the excellent chemistry, which made it really easy to get shots we were pleased with. Here is a quick preview with more to follow in the coming weeks.
(Also, we have almost caught up on our editing. If you’re waiting for your final gallery, we will have our December clients all finished by Monday evening…and the rest should all be done by the end of this week. Thank you so much for being patient! We didn’t except this kind of response so quickly and got a little behind. Everyone has been so great! Thank you so much for bearing with us as we get our work flow into a smooth rhythm.

Anna has been a friend of ours for years. So we were super happy when she asked us to do a session with her husband and son. I love, love, love that kid!
We wanted the day to be really fun for him, so what’s better than starting off with a coke float?! (…Followed by some dancing, train driving and wagon riding.)

Cyndi is one of David’s middle school friends. She was in town for the holidays and has one of the cutest babies we’ve ever seen, so we asked her to let us photograph him. We don’t have much experience taking photos of babies yet, so we were super grateful for the practice. And we couldn’t have asked for a better baby – he was so happy and playful the whole time.
Thank you SO much, Cyndi! And another huge thank you to Cyndi’s friend, Jon for letting us use his home…(and for joining in when asked).

David got really excited when we received an e-mail last week from The Revolving Doors about photographing their New Year’s Eve show at Eddie Haskell’s in Rogers, AR.
They were very cool guys and I’m glad we had a chance to stop in for a bit.
Definitely check out their music: The Revolving Doors (And a huge thanks to Eddie Haskell’s for being so great!!)

We drove to Joplin the day after Christmas to meet with this huge family. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive doing a session with a group of 18, but they were all so sweet and fun!
We loved them. And seriously – have you ever seen a more gorgeous family?!

*(We’ll be finishing up the images and placing them in your gallery by the end of next week!)
